About this Course

True PACS - Advanced Clinical System Administrator Training

This instructor-led course teaches participants about the features and functions of True PACS and the administrative tools utilized for clinical system management. In addition, this course addresses radiologist workflows. By the end of this course, participants will be prepared to assist users in the implementation and adoption of True PACS and to leverage their knowledge to manage the system at their organization. This course is a combination of lectures and hands-on activities. The current released version of the product will be reviewed during the class.

Note: This course is appropriate for clinical system administrators at organizations with the True PACS for radiology Essentials or Professional packages.

Objectives

By the completion of this course, you should be able to:

Identify the main components of Workflow Manager (WFM).
Identify and explain worklist features and functions.
Configure worklists.
Search for and display patient and exam information and images.
Display studies.
Discuss various workflows.
Utilize basic and advanced image viewer tools.
Explain and create traditional hanging protocols (HPs) and smart reading protocols (SRPs).
Describe resource management at the user, group, and common levels.
Explain user maintenance.
Identify and explain the various administrative tools.

Prerequisites

Completion of all pre-class instructions.
Successful completion of the following courses:
- True PACS - Universal Viewer Application Introduction (ETPCA001)
- True PACS - Clinical System Administrator Workflow Training (Prework) (ETPCA050)
- True PACS - Foundation for Clinical System Administrators (ETPCA055)
