About this Course

True PACS - Advanced Hanging Protocols

This course provides participants with the information and skills needed to successfully support end users in the configuration and use of hanging protocols (HPs) and smart reading protocols (SRPs) at their organization. Participants will deepen their knowledge of hanging protocols, learn how to maintain and troubleshoot hanging protocols.

Objectives

By the completion of this course, you should be able to:

  • Explain the difference between hanging and smart reading protocols.
  • Recognize different types of placeholders.
  • Discuss hanging protocol features and explain smart reading protocols.
  • Build hanging protocols.
  • Determine why a hanging protocol was applied.
  • Discuss hanging protocol maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hanging protocols issues.

Prerequisites

  • Working knowledge of True PACS features and function, and clinical configuration.
  • Successful completion of the True PACS - Advanced Clinical System Administrator Training (ETPCA060) course.
